While it may not feel like it, spring 2021 is fast-approaching. That only means one thing to us passionate golfers; it is almost time to tee-off once again. It is coming up on one year since the world was pretty much shut-down due to the pandemic. It has been challenging, heartbreaking, and frustrating.
However, for some, it may not have been completely filled with negativity. It allowed many of us to have more time; something we all wish we had more of. It gave us an opportunity to try new things and have new experiences. Maybe we got to spend more time at home with our loved ones. Maybe you made decisions to take a leap of faith and make a career change. Or maybe you picked up a new hobby like hitting a white ball around a few patches of grass.
Those of you who are here reading this blog are most likely already avid golfers, but maybe you don’t play as much as you would like to. Considering what we were dealt over this past year, one of the few things that has been a constant has been golf, and that is something we can all be grateful for! Courses are still open, and thousands of people have been seeking refuge on the links to escape the frustrations of the world in 2020.
Whether you tee-off every week or are just getting started, make this year your best yet. It is likely 2021 could be a little crazy as well, so putting focus on your golf game can help create balance in your life. Set a goal or two going into this season and work hard at conquering it. Most importantly, stay focused on keeping a positive mindset and do what you can to make each day better than the last on and off the course.
Stay safe, be smart, and go crush it!
